Shravan called me just 2 weeks before planning to pull off his surprise proposal in Sedona to Mansi. My conversations with Shravan were always very interesting. At one point he told me that he was “very ugly” and that I would have to “photoshop some abs into him”. Of course I laughed and asked him if he was planning to propose with his shirt off. As you can see, he opted for a fully clothed proposal. LOL!
His original proposal plan was to take Mansi to the Grand Canyon until he asked me what other amazing places there were in Arizona. I asked him if he had ever been to Sedona. When he told me no then I immediately suggested that they stay at L’Auberge de Sedona, which is situated right along Oak Creek. The accommodations are amazing and the surroundings are so tranquil and relaxing in comparison to the super tourism of the Grand Canyon. He was totally on board. What started as an hour photo shoot at the Grand Canyon turned into a surprise proposal in Sedona along the creekside at L’Auberge de Sedona followed by a champagne toast and quick cake cutting (to celebrate Mansi’s birthday) complete with a sunset engagement session at The Grand Canyon. Mandi said yes so we moved right into doing their engagement session. It was awesome!
It was an incredible afternoon. I had a lot of fun with these two and I know that they have many more fabulous adventures ahead of them!
