We love to host a maternity photography session here at the R2 Studio… And this one is extra special! Robin, Co-Owner of The R2 Studio, was able to photograph her sister-in-law, Kali. She is married to Robin’s younger brother, Tyler! Robin describes Kali as modest, organized, and an incredibly dedicated mother. The couple already have three daughters: Brooklyn, Eleanor, and Rhinna June. They are happy to now be expecting a baby boy: Kash.
When Kali hasn’t been busy with her daughters throughout the pregnancy, she’s been spending time enjoying one of her hobbies: knitting. She made an adorable blanket for baby Kash. Robin and Tyler agreed that in consideration of all of her hard work and dedication, Kali certainly deserved a day to focus on herself and feeling beautiful. And so a maternity photography session was planned!
Tyler took their three daughters for the day, so that his wife could have a few hours to herself, to be and feel beautiful as she prepared to welcome another little one into their family. Kali spent the morning getting her makeup done, hair styled, and modeling a gorgeous dress!
Kali was easy-going, and allowed Robin to use the photography studio to more of its full potential, which was incredibly fun and allowed for more creativity. She also explained how great it was to see Kali’s inner beauty shine during this session, “We really wanted to bring her in and give her a special moment during the last leg of the pregnancy, when moms often feel exhausted and more curvy than they would like.”
Not only as a photographer and business owner, but also as her sister-in-law, Robin was thrilled to have Kali in for a maternity photography session. Take a look at the pictures below and stay tuned later this week, when we post a follow-up blog featuring the one and only, baby Kash!
